"We live on our back porch in the summertime. The sweltering Mississippi heat gives us no choice but to swim every day, be it in our backyard kiddie pool or Mal and Jim’s real one. I can smell the sunscreen and hear the shrieks of cousins playing in the sunshine. The days are long, and many end in a bubble bath outside before bedtime." - Erin

Candle Care

Avoid Tunneling

Allow the pool of melted wax to reach all the way to the edge of your candle vessel every time you light it, and keep it lit until the entire top of the candle is liquid wax. Your candle won't tunnel and will last longer!

Trim the Wick

Always trim your wick to 1/4 inch before lighting. A wick that is too long will cause smoke and produce soot. A short wick does a great job at creating the pool of melted wax, where the fragrance comes from.

Other Tips

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Stop burning candle when 3/8 inch of wax remains at the bottom. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
