A collection of scents inspired by each chapter of Erin's book Heirloom Rooms: Soulful Stories of Home

"When our daughter Helen was born, our front porch became her first playground. Her nanny, Mimi, would lay quilts on the floor and set up a bouncer in front of our security camera so Ben and I could watch Helen from our phones on set as she bounced 178 times in a row, stopping only to examine a fire truck racing down our street, or to babble at the standard poodle and his owner who walk the block every morning at 10 a.m. No matter where we were during the work day, with our phones and a doorbell camera, we could teleport to Helen on that porch with her Mimi, eating her very first doughnut hole on the porch swing her daddy had built, cooing to the lawnmower quietly in the background, the breeze blowing the smell of the neighbor’s freshly cut grass right onto the front porch." - Erin

Candle Care

Avoid Tunneling

Allow the pool of melted wax to reach all the way to the edge of your candle vessel every time you light it, and keep it lit until the entire top of the candle is liquid wax. Your candle won't tunnel and will last longer!

Trim the Wick

Always trim your wick to 1/4 inch before lighting. A wick that is too long will cause smoke and produce soot. A short wick does a great job at creating the pool of melted wax, where the fragrance comes from.

Other Tips

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Stop burning candle when 3/8 inch of wax remains at the bottom. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
